Heroes of the Storm is bringing back the Heroes Brawl as Brawl Mode, opening up dozens of discontinued maps for the first time in almost five years. This new version of the classic Heroes Brawl game mode is available to play on the Heroes of the Storm Public Test Realm now and will ostensibly officially return when the patch goes live in about a mo

Still, defeating Bastion is actually pretty simple. When he's in his Sentry Configuration, he actually gets a second critical hit zone on his back, so any character that can sneak behind him is going to be able to make short work of him. Needless to say, Tracer and Reaper, with their Blink and Shadow Step abilities, respectively, are awesome against Bastion. In addition, characters like Junkrat and Pharah are really awesome at causing massive amounts of explosive damage to Sentry Bastion. Finally, if you have a coordinated team, you can certainly use Reinhardt's massive shield to absorb Bastion's gunfire while other teammates unleash chaos on him from safety.

Widely publicized, truly open betas for games this high-profile are still relatively new to the video gaming world, but that doesn’t in any way diminish what Overwatch accomplished when it compelled 9.7 million participants to try the game. To put that in perspective, The Division’s record-setting beta had 6.4 million players, and Destiny’s had 4.6 million. Overwatch’s world, characters, and polished gameplay have clearly attracted people that normally ignore other multiplayer-heavy shooters, which is especially interesting becaus

The single biggest thing, if you're new to the game, is to coordinate with their team. One of the things you'll see with new players is they'll die, they'll respawn and then just rush right back into the battle. A lot of the time they'll be rushing into a one-on-six, and they'll get annihilated and they'll do this time after time. The biggest thing is to say with your team, coordinate with them; when you need to do a big push, coordinate that big push (or coordinate that big defense when you need to execute a big defense). For newer players, that right there will, far and away, make them better than most of the teams I've played with.

Bastion is different from most of Overwatch's heroes in that his main ability alters his main weapon. His standard configuration, Recon, allows him to move freely and gives him a moderately powerful assault rifle designed for medium range encounters. His Sentry configuration is his most useful, and potentially most frustrating, setup. In this mode, Bastion is completely stationary, but has a turret that can do insane damage at close, medium and long range. Needless to say, running straight into Bastion when he's hanging out in his Sentry configuration is straight up foolish. Add this to the fact that his other ability, Self-Repair, allows him to heal himself, and it's easy to see how Bastion can be frustrating for those who just bumrush an objective without thought. Oh, and let's not forget that Bastion's ultimate, Tank Configuration, not only makes him more mobile and gives him a powerful rocket launcher, but it also decreases the size of his hitbox significantly.

We really had to analyze what made a hero balanced for the entire population rather than just one part of it. When the really good players started getting in, we actually had to start making changes to some of the heroes. We made changes to Zenyatta and Symmetra, which were both spurred on by really high-level gameplay.

Now, it seems like another such update is on the way. Blizzard revealed a set of patch notes for hero balance and bug fixes that is available to play on the Heroes of the Storm PTR right now. Historically, these updates usually come between three and five weeks before they are implemented into the actual game, meaning players can expect these changes to go live in about a mo

Many Heroes of the Storm fans were delighted to see the retired MOBA get a new update. After the game went into maintenance mode, Heroes of the Storm didn’t receive updates for over a year . However, since the first one in November 2023, Heroes of the Storm has gotten regular patches roughly once every three months, with this latest one being the fourth. Hopefully, the cult classic MOBA continues to get updates at a similar inter

Wielding a precise and powerful bow with unlimited arrows, a special shockwave arrow, and able to jump far distances perfectly describes Hawkeye , but it also is a nearly identical description of Hanzo from Wuyang overwatch guide . If anyone is a dedicated Hanzo player, they will pick up Hawkeye almost immediately as a deadly DPS hero , even with the different abilities he posses

Blizzard wanted "Project Titan" to be unlike other superhero-themed MMOs, such as City of Heroes and Champions Online, with new elements like forcing players to alternate between superhero activities and the day-jobs of their secret identities . The project struggled, was completely rebooted, and eventually dissolved, with Blizzard concluding that the game simply wasn’t fun to play . This led to a new design philosophy for Overwatch : above all, everything has to be fun. If reviews are any indication, it seems like the game lives up that philosophy and then some, by cutting out unnecessary chores and leaving only the exciting core behclass=
